ANDREA SCHIAVON

There is an exact day when I realized that my relation with Giro d’Italia was getting serious. The day was May 11th 2017 and on this day we exchanged rings. Or, more exactly, the ring. Calabria, terme Luigiane: Silvan Dillier is going to indulge himself with a not so frequent victory and I lose my wedding ring. Just to know, I had just finished an interview with Jonathan Edwards, dived into cycling with a Eurosport triple jump. And problably it was destiny that my wedding with Giro was celebrated by the most monastic athletic champion.

A journalist for Tuttosport, an italian daily newspaper, and an author (Cinque Cerchi e una stella, ADD 2018, is one of his book) Andrea Schiavon is proud that he made (at least) one radical choice in his life: he never bought a car.
